Dial-up machine support
With the addition of a new Estate Guardian network binding strategy, computers that dial in remotely to your corporate network can now also be managed in real time. Your administrator can now confidently check all portable/remote computers in the normal way and without additional fuss. Your administrators' reach and power has now extended to that part of your population, which can be problematic due to the nature of remote dialup.

Anti-Virus software support
New Estate Guardian tags that allow you to monitor the current state of your anti-virus software have been added. It is critical to keep your virus definitions up to date, especially within the remote dialup population, but how can you be completely confident that all your computers on the network are behaving properly. You can now locate computers within the estate that are threatening the integrity of your anti-virus protection, allowing for faster diagnosis and resolution of potential security problems.

Additional Estate comparison expressions
The expression parser has been enhanced to allow views to be created that contain no constants but instead compare individual computers against the population as a whole. Estate Guardian has always been able to answer specific questions; with this new enhancement you can now compare computers against one another. The implication is that your computer population can now be compared against itself and those computers ranked first, last or exclusive, are by definition exceptions. So now you can ask for computer(s) by specific criteria and by relative criteria. This is all still available in real-time, as you need it, when you need it.

View Counting enhanced
You can now directly see actual population sizes within views without exporting data for analysis or setting up warning thresholds. This may save you time if your aim is that you require an instantaneous number to a business problem.
